Amazon Opslag- & Schijfprijzen in Nederland: zo vergelijk je écht per prijs per TB

De prijs van een schijf zegt pas echt iets zodra je hem deelt door de capaciteit in terabytes — dat levert één cijfer op voor prijs per TB, dat je kunt vergelijken tussen Condition, technologie en vormfactor. Een schijf van 45 € met 4TB komt neer op 11,25 € per TB. Een SSD van 140 € met 2TB komt neer op 70 € per TB. Zodra elk aanbod in dezelfde eenheid wordt uitgedrukt, worden een harde schijf, een SSD en een gebruikte zakelijke schijf direct met elkaar vergelijkbaar, zonder omrekenen of gokken.

Dat cijfer is de basis van elk filter hieronder, en de Nederlandse markt heeft een paar bijzonderheden die goed zijn om te kennen voordat je er blindelings op vertrouwt.

Wat "prijs per TB" en "prijs per GB" precies betekenen

Prijs per TB is de vermelde prijs gedeeld door de opgegeven capaciteit in terabytes. Prijs per GB is dezelfde berekening op kleinere schaal, en leest natuurlijker voor alles onder ongeveer 500GB: geheugenkaartjes, USB-sticks, kleine SSD's. Wisselen tussen de twee eenheden verandert niets aan de werkelijke waarde, alleen waar de komma staat.

Een bijzonderheid van Amazon.nl: btw en Marketplace-verkopers

Een Used-schijf (tweedehands) heeft ergens anders al bedrijfsuren gedraaid — vaak afkomstig uit een vervangingscyclus van een datacenter, niet versleten maar planmatig vervangen en doorverkocht tegen een lagere prijs per TB, in ruil voor een kortere of ontbrekende garantie. Nederland wijkt hierin af van veel buurlanden: de wettelijke garantie (conformiteitseis, artikel 7:17 Burgerlijk Wetboek) kent geen vaste termijn van 1 of 2 jaar, maar hangt af van wat je redelijkerwijs van dat specifieke product mag verwachten — bij tweedehands geldt een lagere verwachting dan bij nieuw, en de bewijslast ligt de eerste 12 maanden bij de verkoper.

Volatile-geheugenfilters: DDR5 vs. DDR4, UDIMM vs. SODIMM vs. RDIMM

DDR5 is de nieuwere geheugengeneratie en heeft doorgaans een hogere prijs per GB dan de inmiddels volwassen DDR4-markt.

UDIMM is de standaard ongebufferde module voor desktops. SODIMM is de compacte versie voor laptops en compacte configuraties. Removable en flashopslag

microSD Flash en SD Flash dekken smartphones, camera's en handheld-apparaten, waarbij SD meestal een voorsprong heeft in capaciteit en snelheid op zijn kleinere broertje.

Compact Flash en CFast Flash zijn oudere professionele camera- en industriële formaten, nog actief in gebruik in apparatuur die daarop is gebouwd.

CFexpress Flash is de huidige hogesnelheidsstandaard voor professionele foto- en videoproductie, ruim boven CF en CFast in zowel snelheid als prijs per GB.
