The price of a drive only tells you something once it's divided by its capacity in terabytes, which gives a single price per TB figure you can compare across Condition, technology and form factor. A $60 CAD drive with 4TB works out to $15 per TB. A $190 CAD SSD with 2TB works out to $95 per TB. Once every listing is expressed in the same unit, a hard drive, an SSD and a used enterprise drive all become directly comparable — no conversions, no guesswork.
That figure is the backbone of every filter below, and the Canadian market has one quirk that trips up a lot of buyers before they even get to filtering.

What "Price per TB" and "Price per GB" Actually Mean
Price per TB is the listed price divided by the drive's rated capacity in terabytes. Price per GB is the same maths at a smaller scale, and it reads more naturally for anything under roughly 500GB — memory cards, USB flash drives, small SSDs. Switching between the two doesn't change the underlying value, only where the decimal point sits.
A Canada-Specific Detail Worth Knowing: Tax Isn't Included in the Listed Price
Unlike a VAT-inclusive market, Amazon.ca generally shows the price before tax at the listing level — the actual amount due only appears as "Estimated Tax" once you're at checkout, calculated from your shipping address.
